Are you insured?
Yes — JPS Jetwashing carries full public liability insurance on every job. This protects you and us in the unlikely event that anything goes wrong during a clean.
Do you provide free quotes?
Yes. All quotes are completely free and there's no obligation to proceed. We visit the property, assess the surfaces, and give you a fixed price before we start work.
What is the difference between pressure washing and jet washing?
Nothing — they're two names for exactly the same process. High-pressure water is used to clean hard surfaces. We use both terms because different customers search for different terms.
How long does a driveway clean take?
A typical single driveway takes around 2 hours. A large double driveway or heavily soiled surface may take 3–4 hours. We'll give you a realistic estimate when we quote.
Will pressure washing damage my driveway or patio?
No, when done correctly. We adjust the pressure and technique to suit each surface. Softer surfaces like Indian sandstone get lower pressure; harder surfaces like concrete can handle more. Our team is experienced in matching the right approach to every surface type.
Do I need to be home when you clean?
Not usually — for external surfaces like driveways and patios you don't need to be present as long as we have access. We'll confirm access requirements when we book.
Can you remove oil stains from my driveway?
Yes, using specialist degreasers alongside pressure washing. Very old or deep oil stains may lighten rather than disappear completely, but we'll always achieve the best possible result.
How often should I have my driveway cleaned?
Most driveways benefit from a professional clean every 1–2 years. Block paving in damp, shaded positions may need annual attention. We can advise on the right frequency for your specific driveway after seeing it.
Can you clean Indian sandstone?
Yes — Indian sandstone is one of the surfaces we clean regularly. It requires lower pressure and specialist stone cleaning products. We never use aggressive methods on natural stone.
Do you offer sealant application after cleaning?
Yes. We can apply driveway or patio sealant after cleaning to protect the surface, reduce future staining, and slow the return of moss and algae. Ask about this when we quote.
How often should gutters be cleared?
At least once a year, ideally in late autumn after the leaf fall. Properties with overhanging trees may benefit from two clears a year — spring and autumn.
Can you clean two-storey gutters?
Yes — we have the equipment and training to work safely at the heights required for most domestic properties.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes. We can handle commercial exterior cleaning including car parks, forecourts, factory yards, and retail frontages. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Payment details will be confirmed when you book. We accept bank transfer and most standard payment methods.
